Traditional vs Enphase
When it comes to installing solar, there are two options for solar inverters, traditional and Enphase. It has been found that Enphase has been a preferred inverter due to having more scalability in comparison to traditional. This means that if a household or business is expecting to increase their electricity usage, such as in the instance of purchasing an electric vehicle, Enphase microinverters are much more flexible. At EV Chargers Tasmania, we prefer to install Enphase as it’s more efficient and safer, but the traditional solar inverters are cheaper upfront.
Energy Saver Loan Scheme
The Tasmanian Government are currently running the Energy Saver Loan Scheme initiative to provide loans to those who are planning on purchasing and installing energy-efficient products. At EV Chargers, we’ve partnered with this program to help eligible applicants purchase and install EV chargers for their homes or businesses.
